Last Wednesday, we had the chance to attend UT Marketplace to share HornsCurious.com with the University of Texas students on campus. From the moment we had our table set up, we had UT students surrounding our booth signing up and grabbing themselves a cool pair of HornsCurious.com sunglasses. For those not familiar, UT Marketplace is a semesterly event that allows companies and organizations to distribute information about their products and services directly to hundreds of UT Austin students, faculty and staff.
The reception and feedback we received from UT students was the best part of the entire experience. As we explained HornsCurious to UT students, they loved the fact that there was a community only for Texas Longhorns to buy and sell things like textbooks and iClickers. Not only do students want to use HornsCurious for these items, but they saw it being useful and resourceful during move out, when they need to sell some unused furniture. We were so excited to get a chance to share HornsCurious with UT students on campus, that we can’t wait to head back next semester.
We want to send a big thank you to the UT Office of the Dean of Students for being great hosts and organizers of a very successful UT marketplace. We’re looking forward to next semester. Hook’em!
