As the NFL deals with bullying issues with the Miami Dolphins locker room, a middle school team in Michigan should be a team they look up to.
The Olivet Eagles football team at Olivet Middle School in Olivet, Michigan, decided to run a play and intentionally not score, all without their coaches knowing. The team planned for weeks for this special moment for Keith Orr, a special needs boy. The team decided to give him the chance to run for a touchdown, something he probably would have never had the opportunity to do.
No matter the outcome of the season, these young men have showed us the true meaning of compassion.
You guys are heros in our book.
