This year has been filled with many noteworthy halftime band performances, and we found another one this Saturday by Notre Dame’s band.
In 1913, Notre Dame popularized the forward pass in football with a pass from Gus Dorais to the great Knute Rockne in a shocking upset of Army. To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the forward pass at Notre Dame, the band reenacted the play with band members forming giant figures of Dorais and Rockne. Simply put, it was amazing.
